Guidelines & FAQs

Guidelines

The goal of this blog is to create family friendly content that Fans of LEGO (FOL) of all ages can enjoy. To achieve this requires your participation by following the guidelines below when commenting on a post.
  1. No profanity. I will not tolerate any profane language and will remove any comments I see containing profane language.
  2. No spam or meaningless comments. Spam does not create a friendly environment, but instead just creates a cluttered comment section. In the same way, meaningless comments, such as "First comment" do not add value to the conversation and will be deleted.
  3. Be respectful. This is perhaps the most important of the guidelines. Please don't say anything to anyone on the internet, here or else ware, that you not say to them in person. Just because you cannot see the person you are dialoging with, does not mean that they are not real or do not have feelings. I will remove any comments that I feel are not respectful. Remember, treat others the way you would want to be treated.
Thank you for your help in keeping this a family friendly environment!

FAQs

Q: Can you review my (fill in the blank LEGO Ideas project)?
A: You are more than welcome to ask, and I will certainty take a look at your project, but unfortunately, I do not have time to review all of the LEGO Ideas projects that I would like to, and may or may not be able to review your project. I reserve the full right to choose which projects I do and do not review.

Q: What does (fill in the blank term) used by LEGO fans mean?
A: I have a whole post devoted to defining some of the most common terms and acronyms used by LEGO fans. You can find that post here.

  1. I'm Astonishing Studios aka the guy who made the LEGO M&M's dispenser. Here's a link to extra photos of the machine: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ghycj9idmne6eyk/AABU3TcCqxWzXmX8hYybTCpQa?dl=0
